PR and Marketing Manager (full-time position)

We are looking for an exemplary PR and Marketing Manager with a minimum of 2 years of successful experience to join our office in London. You will need to hold a 2:1 degree in healthcare management, business, public relations and marketing, and/or life sciences. You should be a dedicated multi-tasker and able to communicate verbally and in writing with ease, using perfect grammar, spelling and tone. Perfect command of British English is mandatory. Those who speak Spanish, Portuguese and/or Russian proficiently are also welcomed.

You will have a keen understanding of the current situation in UK healthcare, and work experience in private healthcare, medical background of any kind would be highly beneficial.

You will have developed a useful network of contacts within healthcare and media, including but not limited to the following areas: Private healthcare, Business, Healthcare, and Technology.

Ideally, you will have experience of working with PR agencies, as well as with the promotion of services in some or all of the following sectors: Digital Health, IT, b2b, SaaS.

You should be able to supply a compelling portfolio of your past work, and be ready to show off your skills upon request.

Essential Qualities and Skills

  • Must have a good understanding of the healthcare sector and trends, ideally work experience in GP practice or private hospital or in digital health;
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter of information, possessing high-level verbal and written communication skills;
  • Easy going, open-minded personality, interested to deliver great stories, to help change industry of healthcare;
  • Must have impeccable organisational and planning skills to organize conferences and events (own and partners);
  • Have working relations and network within media (business, venture, medicine and healthcare), ability to build strong media relationships to run great publicity;
  • Must be proactive and reliable, demonstrating attention to detail and being able to take responsibility;
  • Have a full understanding of all main social media platforms, being able to supervise content production and PR strategies (ads, videos, social media and other digital PR);
  • Must demonstrate initiative and have a positive and professional approach to management;
  • Must be able to create and analyse reports on media coverage data, as well as other market research.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of PR and marketing plans for UK and new markets;
  • Prepare and launch great publicity in the media and targeted professional organisations;
  • Writing, editing and proofreading of online and offline marketing texts;
  • Negotiation and execution of PR and marketing materials with clients and opinion leaders for company website and other internal and external platforms;
  • Preparation of SEO and other content for digital communication via site, email, SMM and other digital channels;
  • Production of videos and other content to build brand awareness and customer loyalty;
  • Organisation, development and participation in events aimed at clients and/or partners;
  • Support of cross-marketing projects with partners, building and developing contacts within the industry for mutual benefit;
  • Create and analyse reports on media coverage data, as well as other market research;
  • Cross-team communication to keep sales and product development teams up to date with the latest and upcoming campaigns.
